Acceptable, but Had Some Issues

unhelpful concierge late shuttle

The concierge was not particularly helpful. My partner wanted to arrange something romantic for a proposal. He was told they needed 48 hours' notice. The concierge did not offer any alternatives. the shuttle was 20 minutes late one night. I had to call, and they sent it right away, but it was still a big inconvenience.

The staff was very kind. the pool area was beautiful and clean. It featured movies out by the pool every night, a great touch for families. live music and a taco truck were available every night on site, providing convenient dining options. a complimentary shuttle to universal studios hollywood was very helpful.

the hotel could be noisy as i heard some traffic at night. i found it hard to shut the balcony door properly.

the trolley to universal was helpful and quick.

our room was not good. the a/c unit was right next to the bed, so it was cold. the towels had stains on them the last night.
